About Us

Here at Voluntas Juvenium, we believe in one thing – each student can begin something worthwhile. It could be starting a civic venture or joining a pre-existing one; Voluntas Juvenium provides young people all over the globe with a platform for action and leadership.

Currently, we have a membership of over 1,700 individuals from 19 different countries, each and every one of them a student who believed that waiting for someone else to change things was not going to work. We have recorded more than 20,000 volunteer hours dedicated to various projects, including volunteering at food banks, engaging with senior citizens at nursing homes, civic ventures and cleanups, and community activities. But for us, it is about much more than just numbers. It is about watching a student evolve from "I wish someone would do something" to "I'm going to do it myself."

This is precisely the reason why we go beyond offering volunteer opportunities and actively urge students to initiate projects. We give opportunities to be not only a volunteer but also a founder. Should you identify a need within your local community that has been left unattended, we will provide you with assistance in creating your very own chapter, initiating your own project, and receiving all the necessary help and resources to bring it to life. It is our belief that the best initiatives come from individuals who belong to the communities in question, and we are always ready to support you in this effort.

As we understand how difficult it may be to start something new, we provide you with comprehensive assistance that is both accessible and personal. Our members have access to  vital resources and an international network of members who exchange ideas, encourage each other and collaborate. You can be a beginner volunteer or a project initiator—our assistance will suit you in any case.

We recognize that tracking volunteer hours accurately is essential, not only to honor our members' hard work but also to provide them with a verifiable record that supports future opportunities. By prioritizing reliable record-keeping, we ensure that our members can fully utilize their volunteer experience to support their future goals while celebrating the meaningful work they’ve accomplished. 

Voluntas Juvenium is not only an organization, but also a community of young people willing to make a change. We strive to tear down any obstacles in our students’ way—be it financial barriers, geographical distances or even self-doubt—that would stop any student from speaking up and solving his or her community’s problems. Thus, we do not only respond to today’s challenges but also prepare tomorrow’s civic leaders who will know how to act. This person could be you.
